Crimson Trace, an industry leader in laser sighting systems for small arms, has upped the ante with the addition of the LG-344 Lasergrip for the Ruger GP-100 and Super Redhawk.
Ruger fans (including the author) have been waiting for this product for a long time. The smaller framed, Ruger SP-101 has been “lasergripped” for some time with the LG-101, while owners of the larger framed GP-100 and Super Redhawk have been left with few promising options for laser sights.
My guess is that the addition of the Alaskan model to the Super Redhawk line is what prompted the introduction of the LG-344, and I for one am glad of it. You can purchase the LG-344 directly from Crimson Trace for $229. A bargain, considering the level of protection this adds to a home/self defense weapon, and the quality of Crimson Trace products. You can be sure that my Ruger GP-100 will be “lasergripped” next Spring if the tax man is kind.
