ArrowJ’s Shuffle…

iPod Shuffle

I never thought I would spend money on an iPod Shuffle, but when my 4th Generation 20 Gig bit the dust last week that’s just what I did. Let’s face it, iPods are expensive! My wife still has her 5th Generation 30 Gig that we can use in the car, but since she uses it at work I had nothing to listen to my audio books with at night. And I have enough trouble sleeping as it is! the iPod Shuffle holds just 1 Gig, but will serve the purpose of audio book delivery system quite well, and it’s green! What could be better?

  1. theres nothing wrong with a shuffle! of course they need some sort of counter or display on them, but as my 30gb gets filled up the more i realize that i cant listen to all the stuff anyway. if i was forced to move stuff on and off the device maybe i would have the 101 unlistened to podcasts taken care of by now.

  2. One neat feature is “Autofill”. I choose the playlist that contains the tracks I want (in this case Abbott and Costello Old Time Radio) and click “Autofill”. It randomly chooses a bunch of files and throws them onto the Shuffle.
