If I had the option, I would go through the training, pay the extra money, and jump through all the hoops necessary to be allowed to have a concealed weapon with me at school. If we at least let these maniacs know that MAYBE there are people at schools with guns they'd think twice about walking into a classroom and firing. The next time some lib says that guns are bad, ask them if they are willing to put a sign in the front window of their home which reads "This is a gun free zone."
