My MacBook Pro hasn’t arrived yet, but my free iPod Touch arrived yesterday. You really can’t appreciate the iPod Touch until you have held it. I had seen pictures, read a lot about it, even watched videos showing off its features, but you just have to, well, touch it. The screen is amazing, the OS is intuitive, and it just gives you a good feeling inside. Note: In order to use the App Store you must upgrade your iPod Touch to version 2.0, and this upgrade will cost you $10. I assume that the next generation will already be equipped with the latest version, and I’m not too keen about forking over the $10, but considering that I got the thing for free I won’t complain too much.
Pros:
- Free (With Academic Promotion)
- Amazing Screen/Experience
- Intuitive OS
- Audio/Video/YouTube
- Safari (Truly Amazing Mobile Browsing)
- Tons Of Apps Available!
Cons:
- Constantly Entering iTunes Password For App Store
- Keyboard Is Tough To Get Used To With My Large Fingers
- Finger Prints (Obviously)
- Only 8GB
- No External Speaker
- No Dock

I agree, until you hold one in your hand and touch it you just can’t get it.
