This is one of my favorite Bob Hope moments.

I have been working on creating some wallpaper images for Vintage Cigar Club over the last few days, and I needed a simple way to create an album of these images on the web. I did a Google search and found a great Java app called JAlbum. Of course, since the app is written in Java you can almost certainly use it regardless of your computers OS. You can upload the albums you create directly to the JAlbum website (30 MB free) or you can use the software to upload directly to your own FTP server.

What makes JAlbum so powerful are the skins. There are over 100 skins available on the JAlbum website, but perhaps the most feature rich is Chameleon. In addition to having tons of color schemes, you can use Chameleon to present your images in slide shows, provide download links for your images, and even sell your images!

For some time now I have been part of the growing community at Vintage Cigar Club. If you ever wanted to learn all there is to know about cigars, this is the place. Among other things, you can learn more about a specific Cuban cigar by participating in the Cuban Cigar of the Month thread. Best of all, the Vintage Cigar Club brings some of the most unintimidating, friendly “brothers of the leaf” on the planet together to discuss a common love. No highbrow discussion allowed. Well, very little at any rate ;)
